Having a senior session during your last year of high school is something that becomes rather relevant.
Not only is it a nice tradition, it is also an opportunity to discover more about yourself in this moment of your life.

I am not saying this because I am a Senior Photographer, but rather because I know from experience how magical it is for both high school seniors and their families to document this particular moment in life.
Being a senior in high school is the ultimate milestone that separates children from young adults.
It is a time full of energy, excitement, adventures and hope.
And also a time for the family to come to terms with their daughter or son becoming their own person.
Simply said, it is like the long-awaited spring after the winter.
It’s the final time when everything comes to life and blossoms, and having a portrait that captures all that magic is worth more than gold.
No matter if you are an outgoing extrovert or a more quiet and private type of person, making an everlasting memory out of this moment is the best gift you can make to honor your own journey.
What to expect?
Some people believe that posing for the camera is not something they would feel comfortable with and they are immediately thrown off with the idea of doing a senior session.
However, you will find that in my case the main ingredient for a successful senior session is that you are yourself.
I like to discuss what my seniors have in mind for the session and give way to their own creativity.
I am also comfortable directing and guiding them so they feel at ease in front of the camera and creating the most amazing pictures that capture the magic of their personality.
Normally we visit one or two locations and we shoot in one or two outfits to get a variety of pictures to choose from.
What happens during a senior session?
I am a simple person, in love with helping high school seniors have a great time while doing their pictures.
Mom can come along and help around, supporting you through the time of the shoot and joining in the fun.
You can also bring your bestie or your pet and pretty much anything that helps you express what you are all about, and feel more confident.
If you are not sure about what to wear, it is quite simple, the rule is to wear whatever you feel good in, trust me, it makes a difference when you feel like you “need” to do something and when you just do it because you want to.
